Elisabetta Fagiuoli is one of the most inspiring winemakers we know and as is common when you get into it deep enough, you find that her wines are just like her - characterful, true, energetic, long-lived, generous and open. The fantastic Montenidoli terroir plays a part, of reasonable altitude that it overlooks the medieval hill-top town of San Gimignano, but it's the sensitivity with which her team tends to her vines, under her constant supervision, always being attentive to their needs during different stages of the growing season, with an eye to the energies of the lunar cycle, that makes this jewel of the San Gimignano appellation truly unique.
